Retreat: The Hero’s Journey—Meet Yourself

In this 10-hour psychodrama retreat, you’ll venture through the hero’s journey to explore the challenges, strengths, and inner characters that shape your life’s path. You will engage in creative personal and collective transformation, that’ll awaken new awareness and make you return to daily life with clarity, energy, and tools for living with greater authenticity and wellbeing.

 

Objectives: 1) To promote holistic well-being by providing a safe and supportive environment to integrate unconscious aspects of the personality for transformation, personal healing and growth. 2) To promote emotional expression, emotional venting, and emotional relief.

About the facilitators:


Joel Maroto is a clinical psychologist and psycodramatist, Co-director of ICOPSI, currently finishing a Masters degree in Gender and Human Rights in the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica, internacional group consultant and organizational psychology experience.


Melissa Awik is a humanistic psychologist specialized in clinical psychosomatics with an emphasis on the transmission and treatment of transgenerational traumas, grieving, and biodecoding. Floral therapist and group consultant with studies in psychodrama.
