The Journey of Relationships: The Good and the Bad
In this retreat of 4 interactive and dynamic sessions you will:
(1) understand how all your close relationships are put together and connected;
(2) how they work to create the life that you experience;
(3) understand why some of your relationships work and why some are troublesome; and
(4) learn to deal with them, heal them, and feel renewed.
Objective: Foster wellness and a safe space to elaborate and re-signify perspectives associated with attachment and transgenerational-related issues as well as provide support to examine how early life mind adaptations related to attachment experiences may still be operating in the present in helpful or unhelpful ways, for personal healing and growth.

Facilitators:
(1) Joel Maroto is a clinical psychologist and psychodramatist. He has already facilitated three psychodrama retreats in Aruba in 2022 & 2023 (at the UA) and numerous more in Costa Rica and Brazil. He is in charge of the experiential psychodrama training group for future psychodramatists in Latin America.
2) Brian Verschuur is a general psychologist who has worked for 5 years as a psychologist at the Korrectie Instituut Aruba (KIA). He co-facilitated the psychodrama retreats together with Joel in 2022 & 2023 at the UA. He is currently working at the HIAS Aruba as the positive masculinity officer.
